Architecture and system design with 8 integrations for agricultural portal

Agribusiness automation to boost the agro-industrial complex by creating a digital environment.

Task

Development of the architecture and system design of a unified portal to connect 6 disparate services. Some of those services have yet to be created, so the task was to describe in advance the architecture, integration rules, and unified authorization.

Agropolia is a unified digital data ecosystem for the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The deadline of the project was tight: we took it up in July and already in September we presented technical documentation and detailed layouts of the system.

Project features

  • 8 integrations
  • GOST-34
  • New system design
  • Architecture of a Unified Identification and Authentication System

Before

Agropolia is an already existing app, which required modernization and improvement with new features and a new friendly design.

Stages of work

Analytics

We started with the development of functional descriptions of the system, and this is what we got in the end:

  • Terms of reference describing a complex role model and methods for integrating all systems
  • Instructions for users and administrators
  • Testing regulations

Design

We developed prototypes based on the customer’s design requirements

We opted for minimalism in design: provided clear navigation and simple scalability of the system

After the customer approved the concept, we made the most detailed layouts, taking the customer journey into account

After

We analyzed and proposed solutions for the development of a large and complex system. With detailed layouts – our client could easily understand not only what the system looks like, but also how it operates

We developed a scalable UI-kit taking all the states of each component into account

Of course, we didn’t forget about the mobile version design: it’s convenient to use on site and on the go

Results

The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan grated the platform a state status. The system is now the official source of data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be used in various regulations.
