We are currently looking for an experienced Java developer for an aviation project. You will have to work on the project in the Frontend and Backend developers’ team.

WE NEED THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• 3+ years of commercial Java development experience,
• Understanding of the OOP and SOLID principles,
• Confident knowledge of the spring boot framework,
• Expertise in writing unit tests (junit, mockito),
• Expertise in designing and writing Rest API,
• Understanding the microservice architecture,
• Expertise with queue brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.), and
• Expertise and willingness to work in a team, the ability to negotiate and communicate the value of solutions.

YOU WILL HAVE AN ADVANTAGE IF:

• You know JAVA EE,
• You have experience of working with Kafka (ability to configure and optimize)
• You can use monitoring systems (we use Prometheus + Grafana), and
• You have experience of working with Kubernetes.

In this role, you will:
— Create new infrastructure and develop existing infrastructure with Terraform on GCP;
— Support the migration of services from OpenStack to GCP.

Technologies involved: GKE, Istio, Terraform, Helm, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Pub-Sub, Kafka, CloudSQL (Postgres), ElasticSearch/ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP services.

About the role:

— Execute end to end from design to implementation.

— 4+ years of Java design and development (server side).

— Knowledge and experience in microservices and distributed systems. Implementing and consuming RESTful APIs.

— Experience with async communication and event-driven messaging architecture.

Technologies involved: Relational Databases, SQL, ORM, Spring/Spring Boot, JPA2, Hibernate, Mongo or similar document-oriented NoSQL database, CI/CD, AWS
